Congratulations!!!
Owning a gnome is one of the
simplest ways to bring a smile to anyone.
Congratulations on the new adoption to your family. You have made a great investment in something that will bring joy for years to come.
From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU for supporting my small business and making me smile with your order. Big box stores don't do a happy dance when you buy from them but small business owners do!
What do you need to know about owning a gnome?
1. PLEASE HANDLE WITH CARE
These are handmade items and care is necessary during handling. Please keep out of reach of small children, as the gnomes are not intended as toys.
2. BEWARE
One gnome has the capability of multiplying over time. One slowly turns into two, two into three....before you know it, you will have an entire home full of them. There is nothing wrong with that.
3. FUR CARE
During packaging and shipping, the gnome's fur may be kinked, crushed or wrinkled. This is completely normal and to be expected.
There are ways to remedy this, depending on the preferred look.
--To fluff the fur up, gently pinch between fingers and thumb while GENTLY pulling outward.
---If you prefer the messy look, hold your gnome in one hand and GENTLY using the fingers on your opposite hand make quick zig-zag pattern from TOP to BOTTOM.
--If the gnome has a mustache, GENTLY separate the mustache from the beard. Now, slowly roll it between your thumb and index finger while moving outward from the nose.
--Some gnome fur can be smoothed with LIGHT combing. A small comb or a metal dog brush works perfect for this. Take care not to push hard into the fur while combing. A LIGHT TOUCH WORKS BEST.
If combing doesn't achieve a smooth look, you can try a hair dryer, on WARM SETTING, pointed at an angle downward from top of fur to bottom.
WILL MELT THE FAUX FUR**
of the hat, embellishment or, most importantly, the nose
This may cause discoloration.
